Kim Frank's work is published in American Literary Review, Sidetracked Magazine for Adventure Travel, Shadowgraph, DuPont Registry, Blackbird, Drunken Boat, Every Day a Century, Colorado Review, monthly in SVPN Magazine where she is the editor. She is an 2014 Idaho Literature Fellow with an MFA from the Warren Wilson Program for Writers and an MSW from the University of Pennsylvania. A 2013 UCross Artist Residency Fellow, Her novel excerpt, "Our Red Thread" was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Kim was co-writer and editor for the short film, "Goddess of the Yangtze," a Columbia Gorge International Film Festival documentary pick. Kim is the writer and editor for the Wild Born Project which explores birth and pregnancy among women in the most remote areas of the world. She is currently working on a novel set in China and a book titled, Woman at the End of the Land , a collaborative project with documentary photographer and explorer, Alegra Ally. Kim is a freelance writer, editor and a creative writing coach. Originally from Ocean City, New Jersey, she lives in Sun Valley, Idaho with her family and two dogs.
